Veterans Housing

- South Haven, Michigan
- Open to all U.S. veterans
- No-cost intake & case management
Our Veterans Housing initiative pairs men and women who have served with stable, dignified living arrangements and the wrap-around support they need to rebuild their lives.
Each participant works one-on-one with a case manager to navigate VA benefits, employment readiness, mental-health resources, and long-term housing placement. We meet veterans where they are — whether transitioning out of service, recovering from hardship, or rebuilding after homelessness.
Apply for help, refer a fellow veteran, or sponsor a placement to put a roof over a hero's head.
South Haven Breast Cancer Walk

- October 2026 — date TBA
- Lakefront, South Haven, MI
- All proceeds fund local survivors
Lace up for the 1st Annual South Haven Breast Cancer Walk — a community march along the lakefront uniting survivors, families, and supporters in the fight for a cure.
Registration includes an official walk t-shirt, finish-line celebration, and the chance to walk in honor of a loved one. Form a team, register solo, or sponsor a survivor's entry.
Every dollar raised stays in West Michigan to support breast cancer research, screening, and survivor wellness programs.
Café Room

- On-site at the DMA campus
- Job training for veterans
- Community gathering space
The DMA Café Room will be a warm gathering place where veterans, neighbors, and supporters meet over coffee and a hot meal.
Beyond hospitality, the café doubles as a hands-on job-training kitchen — equipping veterans with food-service skills, customer-experience training, and a paycheck while they transition to long-term employment.
Construction is underway. Your donation directly funds appliances, furnishings, and the first cohort of veteran trainees.
Fitness Center

- On-site at the DMA campus
- Free access for veterans
- Body, mind & recovery focused
Physical wellness is the foundation of recovery. The DMA Fitness Center will offer veterans and program participants free access to strength equipment, cardio, and group movement classes.
Programming will include adaptive fitness for service-related injuries, trauma-informed yoga, and peer-led training groups that build community alongside strength.
Help us open the doors — sponsor a piece of equipment or a year of membership for a veteran.
